anyone good with computers?

1. tournament tables wont open on google chrome.
they wont load automaticaly or when i click launch.

cash is fine for some reason.....


2.installed the new IE and i cant close any windows, if i click the red cross every window i have open inc tables goes blank and gives me a message about protecting my computer. i then have to ctr alt dlt end task. and reload IE.

needless to say its pissing me off.

solution to either problem would be just great.

crow are you the one that also posted this on the sky forum, but anyways try using firefox, its so much better than IE i have had closing issues with IE in the past have the new IE with windows 7 and its no different to the old one, still useless. Google chrome seems to work brilliantly the first time then nothing after that.

I have stuck with firefox its the most reliable and doesnt give you protection alerts and does not crash very often if at all.

yeah the same crow that posted on the forums lol, tried firefox but it only works occasionaly. all of them work occasionaly lol

hmmm thats strange firefox has never let me down on any site well only on the very very odd occasion, are you sure with firefox your using the latest flash firefox can be funny if your not using the right flash

trying to think what else it could be.

it all started when i downloaded chrome, wish i never bothered!! yeah i installed the latest java/flash player.
no matter how many times i reload any browser they stay the same. just installed firefox again to give it a go, cheers spike

thats ok crow just one last thing for if it doesnt work you couldnt by any chance tell me the spec of your computer it could be that your slightly down on RAM or something and I know sites where you can pick that up cheap lol just if it doesnt work this time thats all lol

err its an acer, i presume it works by magic and/or love.
i have no idea whats inside it...

pretty sure its xp, but not 100%, also at the same time some of the pictures on the internet go all pixelated, blurred. not sure if this has anything to do with it? will try firefox when sky is back online but i wont hold me breath...

hmmmm thats very strange if its xp everything should be fine but you may be running a little low on performance but nothing that should cause this.

Have you ran a virus scan recently cause it could be a virus that is causing the issue.

I use Safari, pretty sure you can download it for PC's.. maybe worth a try if none of the other suggestions work.

norton has expired and mcaffee just pisses me off, so i havnt got any, you think this could be the problem?

i'm starting to think webby was right after all lol, it wont let me download it because it says i have norton antivirus, which expired and i removed it, its not in my add/remove programs either and i dont have an icon on the desktop or the start menu....
