Cash table - When to stand

    Post  grimstar30 on Sun Mar 28, 2010 6:11 am

    Quick question.

Do you have set target to hit when you are at a cash table? for example do you look for a ROI of 20% then stand?

Yeah all depends on who is on the table and if you think your game is better than theirs

I'l often not leave a cash table all the time i'm sitting with a clown even if i'm down

dunno if uve got the figures wrong or me but 20% roi wud mean sitting down with a tenner and leaving when you get to £12. I wouldnt do that ever. Personally I stay on till i finished my session whatever ive got but if ure building a br and you havent quite got the funds for the 5% rule then its ok to stand when uve doubled up i reckon

Just the same as others leave when Im finished and going to bed. Whens that? When I start losing.

Te last half hour of my sessions, over the last 6 months, must have cost me at least a grand. £150 again last night, just spewing profit away.

If tables full of nits, just change....

Yeh dnt worry about it though AK pre flop is the nuts against me at that time of night just sick that I had aces.

Imagine this, twice, playing 400 BBs deep, u raise with Jack x diamonds on the buton.

Flop a flush draw, and fire a bet.

Turn a straight draw, and fire a bet.

River the flush, get it all in, and he has the nuts.

TWICE! - Fired 4 shells - 100 plus bb' in the middle and the guy shoves on u on't river, when You have miracle-d the world. Bullshit

    I dno how ur brave enough to check HH's - I daren't

Ithink Mick doubled you just before you left? otherwise u wud be on ur arse....

I expected u to just nit up like usual - I didnt realise you could play abit too ! haha

    Whats ur msn address

I dont think that picking when to stand should depend on any figure, roi etc. It doesn't matter if my roi for the session is +500% or - 500%, if the table is full of reckless donks who are likely to spew their chips away, I have to stay for the value. Saying that, if I am looking at -500% roi I expect I might be tilting, so in that case it prob is time to leave.
